The Resale Shop of the Grosse Pointe Unitarian Church has been a marketplace for gently used clothing and household items at bargain prices for the discriminating yet frugal shopper for over 25 years. The shop accepts clean articles in good condition including, but not limited to, clothing in season, household and kitchen items, toys, small appliances, books, (no textbooks), tools, small furniture, and jewelery. Consignment merchandise as well as outright donations supply our ever-changing inventory. Consignment clients receive 50% of the sale price of their items if sold within three months of arrival. Checks are issued every three months and a client's balance is carried until a check for $2.50 can be issued. Items are available for a maximum of three months. Unsold merchandise at that time is then moved down the hall to our Clearance Corner. The Resale Shop is a great place to find wonderful treasure and trifles, clean, stylish clothing, dishes and glassware, home accessories, and new surprises every week. The coffee is always on and you'll enjoy our volunteer staff, so come on down for the friendship and a shopping adventure!
